Sowing the Seeds of Change

Ronan Harrington is a pioneering voice in transformative culture and systems change. A Political Strategist for Extinction Rebellion UK, he coordinated the political strategy for the October Rebellion and the UK General Election. For the past three years he has been organising Alter Ego gatherings, building a European network of visionaries, influencers and activists that are bridging personal, cultural and political renewal. He is also the host of Alter Ego’s media channel, which brings a psycho-spiritual diagnosis of this moment of profound change.

His background is in political strategy and culture change. He has worked as a lead futurist to the British Foreign Office, and as a Director of Futures, Strategy and Animation at RPC, an award winning City Law Firm. He holds a Masters in Public Policy from the Blavatnik School of Government, Oxford University, and a Masters in Economics for Transition from Schumacher College. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts, and has worked in a freelance advisory role for several European political parties.

His other passions lie in music, ritual and fooling. His new collaboration Witch Clown weaves together the sacred and profane in wild ecstatic dances and deep connection workshops. He is in India to meet the Dalai Lama as a Compassionate Leadership Fellow, and will be with us to offer insight on how to bridge the worlds of personal and social transformation during our residency.
